Kevin Young - DISCIPLE
Kevin Young vocalist for DISCIPLE discusses the band and new album
Scars Remain.
Filled with hard-rock and metal anthems and power ballads,
Scars Remain
is a heavier, meatier album than their previous self-titled
release. In the rock and metal scene, everyone displays power and
volume. DISCIPLE goes beyond that and also displays their eclectic
style. From the chugging rhythms and muted licks exploding into a
powerful riff of squealing harmonics on the title track to the
political statement via head-banging guitars in “Game
On” and the rock ballad of “After The
World,” complete with acoustic guitars, DISCIPLE leaves no
genre omitted.
Scars Remain is similar to the debut with
“…hard-driving energy with infectious hooks (The
Dallas Morning News).” “Big, grinding…
maintains the edge,” as per Guitar World. .

about AOF.
AOF are already rising stars in Japan, where their out of the ordinary
take on pop punk has landed them huge tours and MTV exposure. With this
new tour they are for sure set to take over the U.S. as well. The band
will be featuring their most recent album, Under the Radar, which has
not been released yet but will be available to purchase on the tour and
on itunes. Also on this tour are Lucky Boys Confusion and Punchline.
For
over 8 years AOF has fought against the odds and
without the help
of a major label or booking agent and still have managed to play over
600 shows in 39 states and 6 countries. Sound impressive? Not only this
